Laboratories

INNOVATIONS LAB
Built as part of a project by Samsung Electronics, it provides integrated hardware and software for education. The room features 20 workstations equipped with laptops and interactive whiteboards. Students will have the opportunity to test and create mobile applications, Android apps, networks, and automated design in communications. The Tech Institute program by Samsung Electronics offers opportunities for professional growth.
"iCard" LAB
The iCard laboratory is equipped with 20 modern computer setups, providing students with the opportunity to learn in a contemporary, high-tech environment. It enables them to work on new projects and develop skills that will pave the way for their future careers more effectively.
OPTICAL CABLES AND SYSTEMS LAB
The laboratory is equipped with EMONA Int. equipment for comprehensive research and training, featuring an integrated LABVIEW software environment, as well as setups for studying optical fibers and cable lines.
MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGIES LAB
The laboratory is equipped with digital cameras, oscilloscopes, television video and audio signal generators, modules for video and audio signal processing, satellite television receivers, sound systems, and computer setups.
ELECTRODYNAMICS LAB
OPTOELECTRONICS LAB
The laboratory is equipped with analog and analog-digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital cameras, development kits, modules for digital signal processing, and computer setups.
MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS LAB
TELECOMMUNICATIONS LAB
The laboratory is equipped with specialized measuring instruments such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, specialized analyzers, and more. It provides students with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of modern optical telecommunications and the equipment used to build telecommunication networks. A real optical telecommunication network and telecommunication setups have been established.
SENSOR NETWORKS LAB
The laboratory features an experimental setup simulating a real optical network. Sensor systems are available, developed based on various Node NI WSN-32xx devices, connected through Gateway NI WSN-97xx and operating under the NI LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) software suite.
HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGIES LAB
The laboratory is equipped with NI Educational Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Suite II Series (NI ELVIS™ II Series) training systems and Data Acquisition (DAQ) devices with various functionalities.
DIGITAL TELEPHONY LAB
The laboratory is equipped with a Panasonic digital telephone exchange, a network terminator for ISDN networks, a wireless router, a communication switch, a multiplexing system, Trixbox software VoIP exchange, VoIP end devices, an IP Gateway, a Cisco wireless router, and Sangona Hardware Telephony Cards for Voice Quality.
